Claiming Victory Over Suicide
When I was seventeen years old I attempted suicide as a result of numerous difficult circumstances in my life. I survived. Unfortunately, I did not receive the care I needed and attempted suicide again at 18 years old. Surviving my second suicide attempt was a pure miracle. I am currently writing a book to share first hand experience about what it’s like to be fully in a suicidal state of mind, the numerous factors that contributed to that (many unbeknownst to me at the time), and how I overcame this suicidal thinking completely.
Throughout the years, I have gained knowledge and insight into why I attempted suicide, the factors that led to those attempts, and most importantly, how to completely overcome suicidal thinking. I have worked with many young people who struggle with suicide – victims of child abuse, students with disabilities, and friends of my own family. I’ve attended numerous trainings and listened to strategies from many people. Over time, I have gained much insight into my own actions and the circumstances that led to my suicide. I have created this website to help restore hope to those in despair, and to educate those who are in positions to help.

Who Is Jesus and Why Should I Care?
Jesus is the key to completely overcoming despair and is the true source of healing

“Suicide is not the act of a weak or selfish person. Suicidal people are in deep, prevalent emotional pain. If they are not able to find relief, their thoughts become irrational and they begin to believe taking their own life is the best course of action, for themselves and others. They are blinded to the devastation their death will bring to others."
